Looking Forward: 2006-2007
Program Development Goals
In the upcoming year, we will dedicate our efforts to creating continued meaningful
impact on the lives of underprivileged children through education.
- We will expand our child sponsorship program and continue our partnership with Esquel's Y.L. Yang Educational Foundation.
- We are exploring potential partnerships with other non-profit organizations that share a similar focus and possess a proven track-record combined with on-the-ground capabilities.
- By establishing new partnerships, we hope to expand the reach of our efforts while developing our own internal expertise with regards to understanding of local needs and development of community and government relationships. We believe this path will lead us to our long-term goal of creating sustainable and thoughtfully-designed programs that impact the lives of the children and local communities on a deep and meaningful level.
Fundraising Goals
In the coming year, we hope to broaden our donor base and significantly raise more funds than last year through a combination of partnering with other Harvard affiliated student organizations and expanding to inter-collegiate events.
- We hope to co-sponsor events this year with the Asia Business Conference, Harvard China Review, and the Asian American Business Association.
- We have reached out to student organizations at Yale, MIT, and the University of Pennsylvania.
- We still anticipate the great majority of funds this year to be from the Harvard Business School Section Charity Auction.
- None of our efforts would be possible without the support of our generous donors. Therefore, we will continue to provide strict accountability and transparency to our donors.
